Adding to a growing global team, two new directors bring a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the pixitmedia leadership team.
London, UK. May 2021 — Leading software-defined storage and data management solution provider, pixitmedia, welcomes two new additions to its leadership team as part of the company’s continued global growth and expansion.
As the new Director of Strategic Technology and Innovation, Steve Penney joins pixitmedia with a strong history of managing teams to deliver media infrastructure environments for high profile services for the likes of Viacom, Turner Warner, and more recently Red Bee Media (BBC, Channel 4, ITV). He possesses an extensive and holistic understanding of media system architecture, having led the delivery of multi-petabyte archive migration projects and multi-site, multi-cloud business transformation projects.
In his new role based in the London headquarters, Penney will combine software development, delivery and customer-driven development, championing pixitmedia’s product capabilities.

Also joining pixitmedia as new Director of Sales and Marketing, Belinda Merritt is driven by a passion for disruptive technology and innovation. Based in North America, Merritt has spent over two decades driving robust sales strategies on the ever-changing digital entertainment landscape, using her eye for cutting-edge technology to introduce the industry to a number of groundbreaking workflow solutions.
Merritt will anchor the company’s North American presence, connecting with US-based partners and customers, providing the Media & Entertainment industry with premium storage solutions.
